have you personally gone through a deed in lieu of foreclosure? how long did it take to complete and did the bank really release the deficiency balance?
Well, I haven't gone through a deed in lieu of foreclosure personally but I have seen others going through it. If you have the negotiation and convincing power, you can easily get this option. In most cases, the bank releases the deficiency.
