Ive been unemployed as of August 2009. Ive applied within the mortgage company to lower my monthly payments. that should of only taken up to 90 days. 7 months later I still have not heard anything, but I have heard of deed of lue. I could this help me from forclosure and to keep my home?

Hi dlong,

A deed in lieu of foreclosure will help you in getting rid of the property. It won't help you to save your property. If you want to save your home, you will have to go for a loan modification. As your lender has not responded to your previous request, I would suggest you to re-apply for it once again.
