Deed In Lieu - Can it be denied because I have always made my mortgage payments on time?...I am considering a DIL by the end of this year. My financial situation will change drastically at that time (job loss/health issues). If I have been current on my payments w/ no late payments since I purchased the property, could my DIL be denied? I can no long keep up this pace with my additional expenses of property tax, PMI's and Association fees. Should stop making mortgage payments or continue until I get an approval / or denial of the DIL?
