I want to know if you have a pension if the bank would look tocome after your pension to pay the outstabding mortgage if you don t want to keep the house?

Hi joytheworldmiller,

As far as I know, the retirement accounts and social security income cannot be garnished. However, if you have a savings account, then it can be garnished by the lender. However, in order to garnish your account, he will have to get a judgment from the court.
