How long does it take for a deed in lieu of foreclosure to run it's course? For example If I file today, how long do I have to vacate the propery?

how do you mean "if i file today"? are you referring to the actual presentation of such a deed to the lender, or are you referring to the beginning stages of negotation between you and the lender, leading up to the deed in lieu? this is a critical area...i'm sure that in the negotiations with the lender, this question can be asked and answered.

i'd think that at the time of transfer of title, they'd want you to vacate. remember, there'll be no court involvement, so there won't be an order coming down from on high that will answer your question.
