i recently had my home sold on forclosure.i didnt keep up with the first mortgage but the second mortgage was paid in full up to date.they sold the house at auction and now the second mortgae company keeps calling me about payment.i have a house i live in paid in full.no mortgage.can they put a lean on my house?

Hi bgb,

The second mortgage lender has not received his mortgage dues in full after the sale of the property. Thus, the lender will have the rights to come after you for the debts. If you do not pay off the dues, then the lender may place a lien on your property. However, in order to do so, the lender will have to get a judgment against you.
