The sheriff just left the house, mortgage states we can only save the house if we come up with $7000.00 by the send of this month. Received a letter this morning from mortage company reqarding HUD.....now they want us to write a letter and send in all this info. My question is what is going to happen if HUD decides to let us stay in the house will we be renters, or will there be a chance we can still keep our house???? Don't know what is going to happen! Where can we go to get a loan for 5,600. We have 1,400 so far.

Hi yolandsi!

Welcome to forums!

In my opinion, you should first write a letter to HUD and check out what options they would be giving you. In my opinion, if you are unable to pay off the dues, you will have to leave the property. It will depend upon the new owner of the property whether or not you would be able to rent the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
