brunsonbrittany Joined: 29 Jun 2010 Posts: 1 1.00 Dollars($)	Posted: Tue Jun 29, 2010 11:26 am    Post subject: my grandmother is deceased Like 0 Dislike 0 my grandmother is deceased,and her property may be endangered to have lien put on it,none of her children including my mother are interested in the seriousness of this matter,i would like to take steps in taking over the property handling the taxes and other matters... what are the steps i take? can i turn the deed in my name?

In order to do so, you will have to take the permission of all the other heirs. Once the property is transferred in your name, you can pay off the taxes and other bills.
