My house is in short sale for over 8 months and now the offer is $650k but the mortgage doesn't want to accept it, they want $665k. I have a second and a lien against my residential house. I can't afford it, can I ask for DIL, next week is the date of trustee sale. Please guide me what to do

Hi cperea,

You can apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure in order to get rid of the property. You should write a hardship letter to your lender and ask the lender to consider your request for a deed in lieu of foreclosure.

Take care.
