|
|
In 1991 I bought a house while in the military and did a simple assumption to my parents with the understanding I would stay on the Title and Deed. My name was left off and my mom inquired before they signed the papers, and we decided to add me later. My father died in May 08 and my mom added me on a Joint Tenancy in Sep 08 to keep my siblings from trying to take it from me. Now she is mad at me and had me served with a quitclaim to sign to remove my name by 30 Oct 09. I own practically all of the furniture and household items, and did some decorating in Oct 08. What is my rights?

umar, you have lovely verbiage, but please try to bring some relevance to the discussions here. do we need to have our administrator step in and put a stop to the folly? _________________ George M. Akerley
