I bought land in Ky. on land contract with my uncle in 1983,after about nine years i went to local bank and got money to pay my uncle.Now years later my uncle and aunt have died but there was never a mortgage release sent to co. courthouse.How do i get this recorded now?

I dont understand the question. Did you take out money against a mortgage to pay your uncle, or was the land contract not recorded? If so, you may need to get a affidavit of death. Call your local title company and explain the situation and they will be able to get you the proper forms to be completed.

I agree with what Chris has said!! In case if the local title company is unable to help you, then you should contact a real estate attorney and take his help in this matter.
