clsinchgo Joined: 24 Aug 2010 Posts: 2 1.00 Dollars($)	Posted: Tue Aug 24, 2010 7:26 am    Post subject: accidentally was late on a mtg payment Like 0 Dislike 0 My mom wants to refinance but was late once on mortgage payment after my dad died and she suffered a stroke and heart attack. Will anyone do the refi? We now have mtg payment taken out automatically.

Here in your case if you could tell them the reason behind the missed payment with valid reason,I do not find any reason for the refusal for the refinance of mortgage.(provided you meet all the other criteria) DIPA

They can see her payment history up until my dad's death were excellent. Chase is giving us a "no" with no regards to our situation. I will be glad if we can get away from Chase.
