Is there a way to make the bank deed the title of a foreclose property? Or may I sue them for illegally using my name on property that was foreclosed?

If your name is still on the title you should be able to submit a deed in lieu to your count courthouse's recorder's office and just forfeit the title back to the bank.

Just contact a local real estate atty and I'm sure they can help you do this. It shouldn't cost a whole lot and once recorded it will be effective immediately. Who knows, maybe the atty may know an easier way arround it but most will atleast sit down with you for a free consultation and let you know what your options are.

Good luck

Hi trudyj!

Welcome to forums!

If your name was not on the property or on the mortgage, then you'll not be affected by the foreclosure. I agree with Scott that you should contact a local real estate attorney regarding this issue. He will be the best person to help you in this matter.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
