If I have no health insurance and need surgery and can`t pay the hospital bills and my house was in "BOTH" my name and my spouse, can the hospital put a lein on or take our home for payment ????

As your name is mentioned on the property deed, your creditors can place a lien on the property in order to recover the dues. However, in order to place a lien, your creditors will have to file a lawsuit against you and get a judgment.
