Me And My Husband Both Own Our Home, And He Recently Fell Sick And We Are Unable To Make Payments On The Furniture He Bought. He Owes Them 3,000.00 And The Company Will Not Repposse it. is it Possible For The Company To Put A Lien On My Home? And if So What Will Happen Once it's Done.
Thank You.

Hi Guest,

It is unlikely that a lien would be placed on your home for not paying for the furniture. The furniture company could easily have repossessed the furniture when you stopped making your payments. They will have to go through the legal process to file lien against the property. It will involve certain amount of costs and time. I do not think the furniture company would want to file lien for not paying for the furniture.
