| My car got towed and I am unemployed, I was unable to come up with the money to take my car out the pound. My car was auctioned and now I have a balance with the tow company for 900 dollars. The tow company sent me to a collection agency and the agency told me that a lean was going to be put on my licence. |

Hi perfect_cell,
As far as I know, a lien cannot be placed on the license. Liens are generally placed against a property or vehicle. As the collection agency is threatening to place a lien on your license, it's better if you can consult an attorney and take his advice on this regard.

im quite sure that a liens can not placed on license. |

| Yes leins can be be put on you licence, I dont know how or why but this just happend to me yesterday. I still dont know why, nor does regestry office or the court house but its there and now my licence is suspended. so its very real. and it sucks. |

| they can i can not own a car but i can still drive with a valid DL.The company that towed me went out of buisness in 2004 they towed me in 2003 a junk car in 2006 in could not register my car and was forced to put it in boyfriends name needless to say i lost that vehicle now i'm trying again and have a attorney helping it's not right |

| i have lean for more than 9 thousand dollar and i cant get my license back until its pay.. i was sued for a car accident that i didnt do but i took the rape because the person that was driving did not have license and now iam paying the price for helping a family memeber |
