I filed chaper 7 didint reaffirm my loan, credit score is not moving, should I reaffirm, the attorney never mentioned it. I am current on the loan, its just not being reported!
Welcome Wooden884,
If you can afford the payments it is advisable to reaffirm the Mortgage as that will boost your credit score much faster. Contact the attorney that took care of you and your chapter 7 BK - they should be able to advise as well. Hope this helps.

well wooden, i suppose you've started making payments after chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge. i'd suggest that you sign a debt reaffirmation agreement with your mortgage lender. you should also make sure that the lender will report your payment history to the credit bureaus. once you sign the agreement and continue making payments, hopefully your payments will be reported to the credit bureaus. that'll help raise your credit score gradually.

may god bless you :)
