Hi marilyn,

You can apply for a loan modification in order to save your property. If you meet the required criteria of the lender, then you'll get a loan modification which will help you in getting affordable rates and terms to pay off the loan.

Have you tried a loan mod? It depends on what state you live in on when they can take it away. If you live in a non-jud state they can advist. for 4 weeks and then the 1st tuesday of the the next month take it to the courthouse steps. If you live in a judge. state they have to take you to court to foreclose. Call the bank and talk to them see what they can do to help you. They really don't want your property they just want the money that is owed to them. goodluck
