My lender does not have a loan mod program and I have been asking them for over a year. Is it possible to ask another lender to offer the mod program and have them assume my loan? If so, how do I go about the process?

Hi caramel,

It is your lender who would offer you a loan modification program in order to help you pay off the dues. No other lender would give you a loan modification option and won't be ready to assume the loan.
