Finally after 7 months of talking with homeq servicing regaring my modification we have come to a loan modification agreement. Originally my name was not on the mortgage it was in the estate of my late husband. Now the modification has a place where I sign my name. The estate of is also there. Will this reflect on my credit? Also there is a equity line of credit that I am not paying. Which is also in the estate of my late husband it is for 50,000.00 Can they forclouse on the house I am not paying them. The first mortgage is 199,000.00 Please help

If your name is added to the first loan, then it would be mentioned in your credit report. However, as far as I know, you won't be able to add your name to the mortgage with the help of a loan modification. If the second mortgage lender does not receive the payments, then he may either foreclose the property or he can charge off the loan to a collection agency.
