Ocwen denied my modification due to grossing up SS benefits. Is there anything I can do about this?

I don't think you will be able to do anything in this regard. You may have to get into touch with lender and go for a short sale.

You can even apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure in order to get rid of the property.

You need to fulfill all the criteria required for loan modification, including the criteria related to social security benefits. Better try for other program.
