Hi conntownzen,

The company cannot sell off the property without informing you or the mortgage company. Before the auction takes place, the company should have informed both of you about the sale. I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion as to what legal steps you should take in this regard. He would be the right person to guide you in this regard.

Thanks
