Ok... my aunt was married, husband past away he had a property under his name only. my aun did not care about the property told me to go ahead and put it under my name I was told I could go about it as a QUIET TITLE CLAIM the state was going to auction off the property for not paying the taxes for more than five years. I paid the taxes and want to if possible put the property under my name what do I do..

Hi cuataca,

As you have paid off the taxes, the property will not be auctioned now. You can ask your aunt to transfer the property in her name first with the help of an affidavit of heirship. Then she can transfer the property to you by signing a quitclaim deed.

Thanks
