I entered in to a lease purchase agreement in November of 2008 with my Aunt. I had to clean the house out and clean it up. I took pictures of the place just to CMA. 2 years later she does not have the money for the lease purchase the and the contract is expired. Can I put a lein on the house for the repairs and the cleaning of the house it took us two months to get the home presentable enough to live in.

Welcome RJay,

While you went for the lease to purchase agreement with your aunt, didn't you take a look at the property? If you willingly went into the contract knowing that the property is not in a livable condition, then I don't think you will be able to place a lien on that property. Nevertheless, you should contact your attorney and take his opinion in this matter. He will be able to guide you as to what steps you need to take in this regard.
