I am curretnly separately from my wife but not legally. She wants to refinance the house. I want to put a lien on it so she can't refinance or sale the house.

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

In order to place a lien on the property, you will have to file a lawsuit in the court and get a judgment. If you get a judgment, then you would be able to place a lien on the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
