I am in a debt re-payment plan. I put a loan account from beneficial lending in the plan. My name is on the title to the house/land where my mom resides. She has useafruct rights to the land. What actions can beneficial take against me if we cannot reach a re-payment amount? There is a court date set for 8/19/10, beneficial did not show up for the first date 6/8/10. There are no liens against this property. Thank you, Marilyn Jeanette Mizell

Hi mjmizell!

Welcome to forums!

As far as I can understand from your post, you have taken out a mortgage from Beneficial Lending. If you do not pay the dues on time, then they have the rights to foreclose the property. It is completely the lender's discretion whether or not he would offer you a repayment plan.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
