i have a question, I was recently in foreclosure with my mortgage company but they finally did a modification/ refinance on my home. I have been wanting to file bankruptcy but was told to wait until they were finished per a lawyer. Now that they have finished and i have all the paper work from them is it ok to go ahead and file on the other things on my credit report??

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

You will be able to file bankruptcy now. You should contact your bankruptcy attorney and take his help in deciding which chapter of bankruptcy filing will be best suited for you.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
