Recently denied a loan modification - did not meet the guidelines? Behind 3 months on mortgage and was able to set-up a repayment plan for 24months. Dumb question time: should i look at another lender for refinance?

Hi Guest,

As you are behind on your mortgage payments, you won't get a mortgage. You will have to bring the loan current with your lender first. Once the loan is current, then you can apply for a refinance with other lenders.
