we have rental property - I own 1/3, sister 1/3 and brother 1/3. Property in joint tenancy

IRS put a lien on house... can they take our share - my sisters 1/3 and my 1/3 or do they just go after my brother's 1/3?

It is not possible to place lien on 1/3rd of the property that your brother owns. If IRS sells off the property to recover their dues, then they would pay off your portion of the property to you from the sale proceeds. Thanks. _________________ Good is the Enemy of Great.
