Hi shaunalj,

Your landlord has filed a deed in lieu of foreclosure. This will not affect you in any way. Your landlord is unable to pay off the mortgage dues and thus, he has surrendered the property to the lender who will sell it off and recover his dues. Once the property is sold off, the lender may send you a notice to leave the property.
