2nd Mort is after deficiency - Statute of Limitations in UT?

Lost our home about 2 years ago. Home was foreclosed. The 2nd mortgage company is coming after us and threatening to sue etc.

Can they sue? Can they take us to court and sue? What is the statute of limitations to come after us for the deficiency?

Total stress...lost everything trying to save it...they are seeking blood from a turnip at this point.

For any contract in writing, the SOL in UT is of 6 years. As only 2 years have passed, the 2nd mortgage lender can take legal actions against you.

I agree with Adonis. The second lender has the rights to come after you to recover his dues in full.
