You need to contact the Public Housing Authority of your state and get to know whether or not you're on the waiting list of Section 8.

Bern, more specifically, what you want to do is contact the Housing Authority in your city, town or county; not the state.

The presumption Sussane made and which I also make here, is that you're talking about Section 8. Is that right?

Unfortunately, we don't have the resources or knowledge to tell you your status in regard to Section 8. The local housing people will have that information handy for you, though.
