my husbands paycheck is currently being garnished for a debt from over 10 years ago. we were not notified in any wya prior to the garnishment beginning. we wlso were not furnished with the head of household form that is required by florida law. He is the sole provider of our family which consisits of himself, me, and 4 children. what can we do to stop the garnishment?

As far as I know, the creditor should notify you before garnishing your wages. If the creditor hasn't done so, then I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion regarding this issue. He would be the best person to help you out.
