I want to know if quick claim deed doesn't work to get his name and lien off can I get a legal separation, he is absent from the home most of
the time. I need to get him off of the paperwork, After paying chapert 13 5 years I was going to refinance and found out about lien, now I am in foreclosure. What to do

Hi nnbruton.

Welcome to the forum. As the lien is attached with the property, even if your husband quitclaims the property to you, the lien will be there and it should be paid. So consult with a Tax adviser on this issue.
