My tenant is two months late on her rent. She paid $700.00 of her $1,500 per month for April. May has not been paid. What can I do to get her to pay for the outstanding rent?

Do you have a lease or some other sort of written agreement? Or do you have a handshake? No matter what, you can certainly go to court with your tenant and seek a judgment ordering her to pay you.

It's easier with documentation, but you can still get by without it. But the first step is to make a demand (in writing) for the money you're owed.
