I met the landlord to an apartment he had for rent. after showing me around before I gave him first/last I asked him was he going into foreclosure he told me no. 3 months later a gentleman came to serve me some papers from the courthouse and asked me was I the person who's name is on these documents? I said yes, so I had to sign and once i received the papers, the landlord was in foreclosure.
I didn't get the chance to unpack all my boxes, so I started packing what was unpack, and i moved 2wks later.
here it is a year in a half, i received a letter from the courts, stating I need to appear in nov. I looked carefully at the letter, I'm not the plantiff, nor am I the defendent.
but I notice the guy living next to me at that time, his name and mine are on the last page of this paper work. what do they want us to come to court for?

Hi MC,

I would suggest you to contact an attorney immediately and show him the documents. He will give you an opinion regarding what you need to do in this matter.
