we have a mobile home on our property. our son wants to buy it. what is the easiest way to sell it should we use a quitclaim deed?

it depends on your state guidelines about whether the trailer would be considered real estate property or personal property. if it's considered personal property, the title may transfer through the dmv. if it's considered real estate property, than a quit claim deed most likely may be used. your county clerk or tax assessor's office may be able to help you determine the property classification. you may already have this information yourself. check your own tax records to see if you are paying real estate taxes or personal property taxes to the state in which you reside.
