We have since split up and i want my name removed as he is not making payments
livinginnky Moderator Joined: 08 Sep 2007 Posts: 631 29.96 Dollars($)	Posted: Thu Jul 23, 2009 12:35 pm    Post subject: Like 0 Dislike 0 You can get your name of the deed... but you really want off the mortgage... the only way is... 1. the lender agrees to remove you (highly unlikely) 2. he refinances (and if he is not paying, it is unlikely he will be able to)... the best option for you will be to sell, and sell quickly because regardless of your agreement with him... if you are on the mortgage you are responsible for the payments, and it will affect your credit if he is not paying on time. _________________ Eric Matthews Mortgage Refinance and Home Loan Guide
