I recently initiated a Quick Claim Deed and had my son's name put on it as a joint tenant. I'm wondering if he can use the taxes, interest, etc. as a deduction on his income tax next year seeing he makes the payments.

Hi Joyce,

If your son's name is added on the mortgage docs, then he will be able to claim the mortgage interest payments on his taxes next year.
