My primary residence is about to go into foreclosure. I have a rental property titled in a corporation name for several years. If I move into it and eventually file a Chapter 7, can the property be taken away from me?

Hi LadyinDisguise,

You may have to list the property while you file Chapter 7 bankruptcy and there are chances that the property will be taken away. It will be a better option if you could contact a bankruptcy attorney and take his opinion in this matter.

Thanks
