The mortgage is in my ex husband's name only. I have never been on the loan. The original deed was in both our names but in the divorce was switched to my name only. I've tried to make the payments but have been unable to. Can they take the house by foreclosure since it's deeded to me only?

You're the owner of the property. However, if the lender does not receive the mortgage payments on time, then he can foreclose the property in order to recover as much dues as possible. It will be better if you could refinance the loan on your own and pay off the mortgage in order to save the property.
