Surviving spouse in nursing facility. Is she entitled to her home or does medicare/medicaid take it?

If she is taking help of Medicaid benefits, then Medicaid can take away her property. If she wants to sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to someone else, then she should take the opinion of an attorney in this regard.
