On 8/1/2008, I signed a quitclaim deed. My husband wanted to refinance to keep from losing our home. The bank said that if we did not refinance, they would charge us $1800.00 that we did not have, so we had no choice but to refinance. I signed the quitclaim to avoid responsibility for the loan. I live in the state of NC. My husband and I are separated and he is allowing our home to be foreclosed on &/1/2011. Do I have any rights to this property at all?

Hi Joy!

Welcome to forums!

If you have signed the quitclaim deed and transferred the property to your husband, then you won't have any claims to the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
