My husband and his family were on the estate of his father which involved property we since put a doublewide on the property and proceeded to pay the taxes for the following years now my question is since we were paying all the taxes even thought they were suppose to share on the taxes how can we have them removed they deserted there share.

If the other party does not want ownership in the property then have them sign a quitclaim deed which would remove their interests in the property. Contact a lawyer or your local title company in your area and they can help draft the deed.

Hi skipsluvr,

I agree with Chris. You should ask them to sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to you. This will make you the owner of the property.
