My husband and I refinanced our home with the intention of it only being titled in my name; however the title company didn't get the memo and placed my husband on the deed. The mortgage/loan on the home is in my name only.

Can he sign a quit claim to remove his name? He has since purchased his own home.

Hi N2Deep,

Your husband can sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to you. This will make you the sole owner of the property. Your husband won't have any claims over that property.

Thanks
