Father died leaving a checking account that i cant close can a quitclain do that for me in georgia

Quit claim deeds only pertain to real estate. The only method by which you can obtain funds from a deceased's checking account is if you're a joint owner or if the funds have been left to you from his estate.

Depending on the amount of money involved, it might be beneficial for you to find an attorney who can advise you in how you can best settle the issue.

Do you have any documentation that would demonstrate that your Dad wanted you to have the funds?
