Hello,

Someone please help with any suggestions.

My ex-husband and me are legally seperated. He will not help me. I do not have the money to file for divorce. My exhusband has signed quit claim deed. He does not want to help with mortgage. He has left me and my 2 kids and does not want to help me. I want to apply for a loan modification on my own. My ex husband and me are on loan. Will the bank except my legal seperation paperwork with quit claim deed for approval on home loan modification?

My husband want no part of the home loan or help me.

Any one have any input?

Hi Guest,

As your ex has signed a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to you, there are chances that your lender may approve you for a home loan modification. You should negotiate with your mortgage lender in this regard.

Thanks
