The mortgage co. is requesting the Quit Claim to take my name off the property as the other person is trying to get a modification on the loan, if I do sign the quit claim can it be reversed ? the attorney handling the case says yes, easy to do, easy to reverse ! but I have my doubts and is there income tax implications if I can no longer deduct property tax & interest if my name is taken off the property ?
