My grandmother wants to move from her home and wants to quit claim the house over to me. The house is in need of some repairs. So my question is if I was to accept the offer, will I qualify for first time homebuyers assistance including grants to fix the home?

Hi athomas!

Welcome to forums!

As far as I know, the first time homebuyer's tax credit is not available now. Thus, I don't think you'll qualify for any assistance now.
