My Father owns a home outright in Fulton Cty. Atlanta,Ga. In his will, my sister and I will inherit the house. Would it be beneficial to go on and add our names, with his, to the deed now. We are in the process of selling it, since he will be living with me out of state.

Hi Guest,

You can ask your father to add your name and your sister's name to the property deed now. After your father's death, you may file an affidavit of heirship and remove his name from the property deed.

Thanks
